    Types of Robots

A robot is a mechanical intelligent agent which can perform tasks on its own, or with guidance. In practice a robot is usually an electro-mechanical machine which is guided by computer and electronic programming. Robots can be autonomous or semi-autonomous and come in those two basic types: those which are used for research into human-like systems, such as ASIMO and TOPIO, as well as those into more defined and specific roles, such as Nano robots and Swarm robots.Helper robots which are used to make or move things or perform menial or dangerous tasks, such as Industrial robots or mobile or servicing robots. Another common characteristic is that, by its appearance or movements, a robot often conveys a sense that it has intent or agency of its own.

    Mechagodzilla

Mechagodzilla is a fictional character from various films in the Godzilla series, introduced in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974). He is Godzilla's mechanical doppelgänger and one of the most popular Toho kaiju. Mechagodzilla is also recognized as one of Godzilla's most powerful enemies (all iterations have at one point or another come very close to killing the King of the Monsters).

    What Do You Know, Joe?

In 'Short Circuit', military robot 'five' was subject to a power surge and developed a consciousness. It moved in with Ally Sheedy and adopted this name.

    A. Tommy Five
    B. Johnny Five
    C. Sammy Five
    D. Number Five

Last Posts Answer: C. The Clink! It was owned by the Bishop of Winchester and held prisoners (not just religous ones) from 1100s until 1780 when it was burnt down by the Gordon rioters. Priests, were exempted from the King's justice system ('Benefit of Clergy') and so were held in the Bishop's prison. Conditions didn't sound too bad - when the Privy Council ordered a raid in 1626, they found the door open and various priests living comfortably within, with £100 of loose change lying around!
